I haven't been rug-hooking.
This has caused me turbulent feelings about this blog. Kinship in Color and Wool is the name of this website, it is meant to represent my love of color in painting and how it found its kinship in wool. For the last 10 years I having been rug-hooking more than painting -- until recently..... I realized I did not start or finish a rug in 2012 (except for my Karen Kahle chairpad!). The two rugs that I started in 2011 are still not done.
Am I still a rug-hooker?
I have a following of rug-hookers and textile artists... and I have not been working in this media for a long time....
So, what do I write about?
Things that have endured the whole 7 years I have been blogging: My love of Color. My Commitment to Living a Creative Life. My Family and the central role it plays in my life...
Things that are new: Belly Dance! ---and...
A new commitment to paint non-objective paintings.
I flip between hooking and numerous other passions. Like your stuff, whatever you're up to. I haven't posted on my blog in over a year. Things happen

Love reading your blog no matter where your creative journey takes you. And maybe that means only "Kinship in Color" for a while, but would love to see the wool come back again in the future! You are a beautiful amazing mother, friend, artist and now belly dancer. There's so many blessings to experience in life and I'm sure there are many that would love to hear of your's. I know I would!

Please keep sharing. You and all of your family are so creative...don't deprive us of the Beerhorst family. And those who create do bounce around as the ideas hit. Sometimes I am so torn about what to do that I do nothing. That is when I wish I only had one interest. Create on!

Don't be concerned about titles, just continue to move forward with the grace you've been given. You do this so well already. "The Lord says: "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you." - Psalm 32:8
